Our Story: From The Arctic To Canada & Across The Globe

Yogi has been with Polar Mobility since the very beginning, in 1981. He’s more than just a symbol—he’s a reminder of where we started. Polar Mobility’s roots trace back to the Arctic, where we first provided support for the Canadian and U.S. military’s mobile equipment operations in extreme, snow-covered conditions.

Just four years later, in 1985, we grew into a trusted supplier of heating, air conditioning, and air filtration systems for heavy construction, forestry, military, oil and gas, and mining applications. From the start, our focus has remained the same: keeping operators safe and healthy while delivering reliable, high-performing equipment.

My semi truck’s bunk heater was blowing cold air. I had to run engine all night. I was spending diesel of $50 daily. I tried local mechanic shop but they couldn’t fix it by cleaning carbon gathered on it.
